We enrolled Lucille in parent/baby swim lessons this summer... a 2-week session for 30 minutes each evening. Today, she graduated from her Tadpole-level class, and this was one of my favorite memories of the summer! Ryan and I both swam with her together most sessions. We did a lot of throwing toys and reaching for them, hokey pokey, some Barney song that was stuck in my head all night last night, practicing dunking, and her favorite of jumping (leaning) off the ledge.
She loved throwing the ball up the slide and watching it come down, grabbing toys out of the toy bin, chewing on the tennis ball, floating on her tummy, kicking her feetsies, and jumping off the ledge. She hated floating on her back and dunking her head - no surprise there!
What a fun time with our sweet munchkin girl, and that we could all do it together as a family. So grateful for that time together.
